The stainless steel side steps underneath are a separate item to Defender sills.
Description:
The Defender Titan sills are a heavy duty chassis mounted replacement for the original Land Rover sill body panel strip located underneath the door.
The Titan sills are exactly the same dimensions and shape, with tapered/rounded ends as the original Land Rover Sills. Standard sills are flush with the door. Titan sills protrude 10mm out from the door for additional body work protection.
Standard Land Rover Sill body panels are 1.5mm thick aluminium. They attach to the sill rail which is 2mm thick.
Uproar Titan sills are 5mm thick stainless steel and attach directly to the chassis outriggers on the vehicle via 5 & 6mm thick mounting brackets for maximum strength.
We finish the Titan sills in satin black. If you would like to colour code your Titan sills the same colour as your vehicle, you can sand back the satin black finish slightly and use this as a primer for your top coat. (We do not provide a colour coding service).

All laser-cut edges are meticulously rounded/sanded smooth prior to paint, including the rear side of the item, inside and outside. This forms a nice radius across the item and improves paint longevity.
We also sand out all fold tool indents prior to paint for a superior build quality and finish.
